1. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling a repair, using our website, or engaging our services, you ("Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all repair services provided by Onsite Screen Fix ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") in Long Island, New York and surrounding areas.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Our Services
Onsite Screen Fix provides on-site mobile phone repair services including, but not limited to:
- Screen and display replacement
- Battery replacement
- Back glass replacement
- Charging port repair and replacement
- Camera lens and module repair
- Speaker, microphone, and button repair
- Water damage assessment and treatment
We reserve the right to decline a repair at our discretion if we determine the repair cannot be completed safely or successfully, or if the device has conditions that make repair impractical. In such cases, no charge will be applied.
3. Appointments & Scheduling
By booking an appointment, you agree to:
- Provide an accurate location, device model, and description of the issue
- Be available (or have a representative available) at the agreed location and time window
- Notify us at least 2 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule
We will provide an estimated arrival time. While we strive to arrive on time, arrival times may vary due to traffic, prior appointments, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you if there is a significant delay.
4. Payment Terms
- Pricing: All prices are quoted upfront before any work begins. You will be informed of the cost and must approve it before the technician starts the repair.
- Payment timing: Payment is due upon completion of the repair, before the technician departs.
- Accepted methods: Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major credit/debit cards.
- Failed payments: If payment cannot be collected, we reserve the right to retain the repaired device until payment is received, or to pursue collection through appropriate legal means.
- Travel fees: A travel fee may apply for service locations outside our primary coverage area. This will be disclosed at time of booking.
5. Repair Warranty
We stand behind our work with the following warranty:
- Duration: 90 days from the date of repair
- Coverage: Defects in parts supplied by us, or workmanship errors โ if the same issue returns due to our repair, we will fix it at no charge
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover:
- New physical damage (drops, cracks, liquid damage) occurring after the repair
- Issues unrelated to the original repair
- Damage caused by unauthorized third-party modifications after our repair
- Normal wear and tear
- Software issues, operating system problems, or data loss
- Water damage repairs (due to the unpredictable nature of water damage)
- Claiming warranty service: Contact us at (631) 555-0199 or info@onsitescreenfix.com with your name, repair date, and description of the issue. We will arrange a no-cost follow-up repair.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any repair is limited to the amount paid for that specific repair service.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages โ including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of business, or cost of a replacement device.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, conditions, or damage that we did not cause.
- In the rare event that a repair causes additional damage, our liability is limited to repairing or replacing the affected component, up to the value of the original repair cost.
7. Pre-Existing Device Conditions
You acknowledge that:
- Mobile devices may have pre-existing damage, defects, or conditions not visible or known before repair begins
- Some repairs may reveal previously unknown issues (e.g., a swollen battery discovered during a screen replacement)
- We will notify you immediately of any such discoveries and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional repairs
- Devices with extreme damage, third-party modifications, or prior amateur repair attempts may be more difficult or impossible to repair, and we are not liable for complications arising from these conditions
- Water-damaged devices are repaired on a best-effort basis โ we cannot guarantee successful recovery
8. Your Data & Privacy
- We strongly recommend backing up your device before any repair service
- We are not responsible for any data loss, even in the rare event of an unexpected complication
- We will not access, copy, or transmit any data stored on your device
- Our Privacy Policy (available at https://www.onsitescreenfix.com/privacy.php) describes how we handle your personal information
9. Cancellation Policy
- Customer cancellations: Please cancel or reschedule at least 2 hours before your appointment. You can call or text us at (631) 555-0199.
- No-shows: If we arrive at the scheduled location and you are unavailable without prior notice, a trip fee may be charged for future bookings.
- Our cancellations: In the rare case we must cancel an appointment, we will notify you as soon as possible and reschedule at your convenience.
10. Dispute Resolution
We want every customer to be happy. If you have a concern with our service:

- If we cannot reach an agreement, disputes will be resolved through informal negotiation, then mediation, before any formal legal proceeding
- Any unresolved disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New York State, Suffolk County
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. By using our services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York State for any disputes arising under these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
